I will consider this goal complete when/if: I volunteer my time to a cause I really care about.
This goal is on my list because: I recently had to volunteer as part of a project for one of my classes and ended up really enjoying it. I'm working towards becoming a wedding planner, so any special events I can get involved with will give me valuable experience. For this goal I'm leaning towards volunteering with the local animal shelter or another local organization that takes in pets because I love animals so much. I always think I don't have the time to volunteer, but if I schedule it into my week it should be no problem.
Notes: Possible volunteering opportunities include the animal shelter and Pet Rescue by Judy, who I later plan to foster kittens for.
GOAL STATUS: COMPLETED 01/23/2010 !
01/05/10 - I completed a volunteer form for Pet Rescue by Judy.
01/09/10 - I attended the orientation at the location I will be volunteering at.
01/23/10 - I volunteered at PRBJ in the cat room from 11 AM to 3 PM. I've already signed up to volunteer three more weekends in the near future.
